Happy families!
Brian Austin Green’s fiancée, Sharna Burgess, shared a sweet shout-out to his ex-wife, Megan Fox, who announced on Monday, November 11, that she is expecting a baby with Machine Gun Kelly.
Burgess, 39, reposted Fox’s baby announcement to her Instagram Stories on Monday and wrote, “Welcome little one, we are all so excited to meet you.”
“Congratulations Mama,” she added, addressing Fox, 38, with whom Green shares three sons, Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8. (Burgess and Green also share son Zane, 2.)
The former Dancing With the Stars pro has been dating Green, 51, since 2020. The couple got engaged in 2023. Green was previously married to Fox from 2010 to 2021.
Fox announced her pregnancy Monday via Instagram, one year after opening up about experiencing a miscarriage.
“Nothing is ever really lost,” Fox, 38, captioned an Instagram post showing off her baby bump. “Welcome back 👼🏼❤️.”
The first Instagram photo showed a naked Fox covered in what appeared to be black paint, cradling her baby bump. She tagged MGK, 34, on her belly. A second image displayed the actress’ positive pregnancy test.
News of Fox’s pregnancy comes months after she sported a baby bump in MGK’s “Lonely Road” music video, a collaboration with Jelly Roll, in July.
Fox and MGK — whose real name is Colson Baker — were first romantically linked in 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. The musician got down on one knee in January 2022, but the two have yet to walk down the aisle.
The Transformers actress opened up about her previous pregnancy loss during an interview on Good Morning America in November 2023.
“I had never been through anything like that before in my life,” Fox said. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately and together and apart … trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”
Fox also wrote about her pregnancy loss in two poems in her poetry collection, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. In one section, she recalls seeing an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks and a day, writing, “Maybe if you hadn’t … maybe if I had.”
Elsewhere, she imagines holding her baby “as they rip you from my insides,” adding, “I will pay any price / Tell me please / What is the ransom / For her soul?”
