Erin Lichy revealed she’s nowhere near nesting after announcing her fourth pregnancy last month.
“I haven’t done anything,” Lichy, 37, exclusively confessed to Us Weekly on Friday, December 13, while attending iHeart Radio’s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The Real Housewives of New York City star revealed she’s “not prepared at all” for baby No. 4 but is confident she “will be” when the time comes. “It’s exciting,” she gushed. “The kids are really excited. So, for me, that’s kind of the best part.”
Us confirmed in November that Erin is expecting her fourth baby with husband Abe Lichy, who already share Levi, 9, Layla, 7, and Elijah, 4.
“This new life brings comfort and joy, especially following the recent passing of Erin’s father,” Erin’s rep told Us in a statement at the time, saying their whole family is “thrilled” about the news. “It’s a beautiful reminder of the circle of life, and they are grateful for the love and support surrounding them during this time.”
Earlier this week, Erin opened up even more about her pregnancy during an Amazon Live Stream. She revealed that she and Abe didn’t “really” plan on having four kids, but she was “open” to the idea of more.
“I’m one of five, and my husband is one of six. So clearly, we’re from very big families, and we’re just kind of used to it,” she said during the Monday, December 16, live stream. “But I haven’t had a baby for five years. So this is kind of, like, I know what I’m doing, but I’m getting back into it. So, it wasn’t really planned, but I am excited.”
As for expanding their brood further, Erin said she “cannot imagine more,” calling it a “scary thought.” However, the reality star isn’t ruling anything out. “Who knows?” she teased.
Ahead of her pregnancy, Erin and Abe weathered a few storms that fans saw play out on screen during season 15 of RHONY — including his choice to spend their Bitcoin without telling her. Despite those hiccups, Erin told Us she is looking forward to the new year with a new baby and business ventures.
“I have a lot of new projects coming,” she said on Friday, playing coy about what she’s currently working on. “I’m so pumped. I cannot wait to tell people.”
Erin teased that the projects are so “good” that she’s going to “want to party and be crazy” to celebrate, even if she’s postpartum. “Lots to look forward to,” she added.
What fans count on from Erin is a “wild” RHONY reunion, which was filmed on Thursday, December 12. “I’m happy with it. I think we all got a lot off our chest,” she told Us. “But yeah, it’s wild.”
The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
