Kaitlyn Bristowe is doing some reflection before the new year.

“Lol … Believe it or not I’ve done more work on the inside,” Bristowe, 39, captioned an Instagram video on Monday, December 30. “You can’t physically see that, but I’ve never felt it more.”

Bristowe showed a photo of herself from 2015 when her Bachelor Nation journey started and a more recent image in the video, which was set to “We Are Not the Same Person” by Danny Gonzalez and Drew Gooden.

“To the people who always wanna comment, ‘You were so much prettier before all the work you’ve had done.’ I suggest you do the important work on the inside before judging what’s on the outside,” she added.

Bristowe appeared to subtly be clapping back at the haters, once again. In the years that followed her subsequent appearances on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Bristowe has been faced with many comments about her appearance — and the reality star has not been shy when it comes to setting the record straight.

She responded to questions about why she looks “different” in a candid social media post from June 2021.

“Six years since I was on the show, brow lift, brow microblading, got my teeth bonded, some filler in my lips, aging, darker hair and I finally learned how to contour,” Bristowe shared via X at the time. “Oh, and I put on some weight.”

One year ago, Bristowe also offered advice about getting Botox to her Instagram followers while receiving a new injectable treatment — a lip flip. (The “effect of the lip flip is to relax the muscles that connect to the upper lip, allowing the lip to relax and curl outward, thereby appearing larger and more defined in shape,” according to the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery.)

When fielding fan questions, Bristowe said that she once got “droopy eyelids” from Botox.

“The only reason you would get droopy eyelids from it is if they overtreat and do too much Botox,” she explained in a December 2023 Instagram Story. “So, you want somebody who knows what they’re doing so they can do the conservative amount.”

Bristowe has actually circumvented any other eye issues by getting an upper blepharoplasty (which helps remove excess skin around the eyes) earlier this year.

“A lot going on at the Bristowe residence. All 3 of us have stitches,” she shared via social media earlier this month, referring to herself and dogs Pinot and Ramen. “I got an upper bleph (take it to your group chat if you wanna be negative).”
