Victoria’s Secret has found its wings and is ready to fly once again.
After a four-year hiatus, the lingerie and clothing brand is bringing back their Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with more than a few familiar faces from the modeling industry.
Gigi Hadid, Barbara Palvin, Ashley Graham, Candice Swanepoel, Taylor Hill and Jasmine Tookes are just some of the runway veterans who will walk the runway alongside newcomers like Mayowa Nicholas, Devyn Garcia, Grace Elizabeth, Imaan Hammam and Paloma Elsesser.
But wait, there’s more! Victoria’s Secret is also bringing back legends like Adriana Lima and Tyra Banks to the show.
“It’s a little bit of an out-of-body experience,” Banks told Harper’s Bazaar in October when previewing her return to the runway after 20 years. “I felt like that athlete that’s, like, ‘I’m hanging up my cleats . I’m retiring the basketball.’ And then, now I’m back! I never in a million years thought that I would be back on the runway, but I am so beyond excited and so ready for this.”
Although the show promises plenty of surprises, Us Weekly is previewing some of the biggest models expected to participate in the New York City show. Keep reading to meet the stars ready to rule the runway:
Alessandra Ambrosio
The supermodel first walked the Victoria’s Secret runway more than two decades ago. Now, she’s making her return to the iconic catwalk in the brand’s revived fashion show. “Guess what day it is???? Show day,” Ambrosio wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, October 15, when confirming her surprise participation in the show. “Tune in tonight @victoriassecret @primevideo#vsfashionshow.”
Adriana Lima
Described by Victoria’s Secret as a “homecoming for one of the biggest icons in the modeling industry,” Lima is set to return to the brand for their latest show. The model previously announced her retirement from the brand in November 2018 after walking in 18 shows.
“I always love to be on runways and being part of the Victoria’s Secret show,” Lima told People at the time of her retirement. “It’s my favorite [thing] to do.”
Ashley Graham
This mother of three is ready to spread her wings and shine on the New York City runway. “I’m in my late 30s. I just had three children, and I’m feeling so curvy and so sexy and my outfit is fire. The wings are stunning,” she teased to Victoria’s Secret before showtime. “I’m most excited about representing so many curvy women of all shapes and sizes on the runway. I’m honored to be on this stage.”
Tyra Banks
The Victoria’s Secret Angel — who walked in nine shows during her tenure with the brand — is ready to make her return to the show’s runway.
“You are… Never too young to SMiZE. Never too old to DREAM. And I hope you’ll be doing both with me tomorrow when I rock that @victoriassecret runway again after almost 20 years!” Banks wrote via Instagram on Monday, October 14. “As I walk, think about YOUR dreams, what YOU want to accomplish. That thing you’ve been doubting about yourself. That thing you’re not sure you are confident enough to accomplish. Don’t ever stop DREAMING. But now, it’s time to get to DOING!”
Gigi Hadid
Every walk in a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show feels like a dream for Hadid. “I’m going to need a fact checker on that, to be honest, [but I’ve walked] maybe four or five?” the model shared. “I’ve walked the VS fashion show for much longer before I actually got the show. I walked it by myself in my bedroom.”
With showtime getting closer, Hadid can’t wait to be part of more iconic moments. “The wings, lights, outfits, smiles,” she shared. “How you can see people just shining through the TV.”
Barbara Palvin
The Victoria’s Secret Angel is excited to reunite with close friends and feel the adrenaline rush of walking a runway again. “I think the show’s return will inspire women to embrace their individuality and strength,” she told Victoria’s Secret. “It’s not just about beauty or fashion anymore. It’s about empowerment and celebrating who you are no matter your shape, size or background.”
Jasmine Tookes
The supermodel and JOJA co-founder is excited to be back in New York for one of her favorite runway shows of the year. “Being a part of the Victoria’s Secret sisterhood is something that I’ve always held really special in my heart — I grew up as an only child,” she shared with the brand. “So, when I started working with Victoria’s Secret, I was like, oh my gosh, I have 12 new sisters around me. I feel so excited and happy to be back. I mean, Victoria’s Secret was such a huge part of my life for over 10 years. To be back here is just incredible.”
Behati Prinsloo
This supermodel is ready to exchange concert stages for runways. After supporting husband Adam Levine and his band Maroon 5’s Las Vegas residency, Prinsloo is preparing to rule the runway in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “I’m older and wiser! It’s going to be super fun to be part of it and see the girls,” she told Victoria’s Secret. “I never thought it would come back so being part of it is fun. I don’t know what to expect, but I’m excited to see what VS has in store.”
The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Live on Tuesday, October 15 at 7 p.m. ET. You can also watch the action on Victoria’s Secret’s Instagram, TikTok and YouTube pages.
