Country pop crossover queen Shania Twain, long may she reign, is still the one.
The 57-year-old arrived at the 48th People’s Choice Awards in Santa Monica on Tuesday, December 6, in a custom Rodarte creation reminiscent of her look from the music video for her 1998 hit “That Don’t Impress Me Much.” The 2022 version of the look features a sheer black top coupled with a leopard-print bandeau and a matching hood, as well as a black velvet skirt that skims the floor.
Oh, and don’t forget the pink hair!
As we all know, leopard print is a neutral, and therefore couples with any hair color. But the touch of pink may be a nod to the singer’s vibrant pink eye shadow from the video, as well as her bold lip. The iconic video costume featured a floor-length hooded cape, a bandeau top, and flared trousers, all, of course, in bold leopard.
