I recently started my annual Gilmore Girls rewatch (it’s a fall prerequisite—I don’t make the rules), and one element stood out to me in a way that it hasn’t in previous watches: The sweater range is outstanding. The show’s knitwear makes me feel both nostalgic and inspired, whether it’s Rory’s chunky cable-knits from season one or Lorelai’s signature turtleneck sweater and leather blazer, and it got me craving good fall sweaters.
